I got one the other day, quite like having one on my suit, feel like a sir
When are you meant to wear them until? Is it remembrance week or something?

Our colour sergeant told us off for wearing them a few days ago - official guidelines apparently are 1 week before, 1 week after.

I have a bike/van one that I bought last year so I'll chuck in a couple of quid for recycling that & the kids already have one each sold at school but I will get one from the next seller I pass at some point.

Yes, i wear a poppie every year as does my lad. He is wearing a wrist band this year, i have stuck with the traditional poppie.
But appear to have lost it this year already.
I shall have to get another one.

I wear one every year. Well when I say one I tend to go through many more as they end up getting crushed or soaked or lost on an almost daily basis.

I did this and the woman made me take one anyway as she was trying to get rid of them all.

Of course. Anyone doing anything for the 11th?

Shall be in church. Not religious, but it's not a terrible service. Will also lay a wreath and parade with my cadets.

Dozy bint, instead of making an extra sale and another donation. She passively took £1 from the charity by forcing you to take one.

Never.

Lest we forget they died for our freedom..

What freedom was that then? Freedom to get ripped off by bankers? To be lied into further wars by our government?

They just died. I don't wear poppies as people might think I have swallowed that freedom bullshit.

Perhaps you should wear one to remind people that you haven't swallowed that freedom bullshit. In a sort of deliciously ironic, post-modern, neo-subversive way, of course.

It'll be our secret.

I usually get a poppie and in fact found last years this morning.

I didn't know you could get wristbands, I will probably get one of those this year as I seem to be amassing a collection of bands for various causes at the moment.

My friend is in the TA and wears one all year round, understandable. I don't buy one but do donate so don't judge me as I tend to lose them within the day Embarassed

I wear one, I generally have to buy a new one ever day though as I ruin/lose them.

We always stop what we're doing at work, which is quite poignant as it is a large, busy public building.
