okay, i'm currently 18 and own a yamaha fzr 600, i have two years no claims since i been riding from the age of 16.

i have now got a car license and i am considering getting a car if i can afford it ontop of the motorbike.

buying the car is not the problem, it is the insurance so i was wondering if any of you know what insurance companys take your motorbike no claims into account?

cheers Thumbs Up

I assumed they would be transferable between bike and car? My bike insurer accepted my 3 yeats ncb from my car. I'm hoping to put the ncb back on a car in future so will be fecked off if they don't accept it.

Have you been denied by some insureres already then?

Hi

Some companies allow it and some don't (or some might give you some kind of 1 for 2 deal). Entirely up to them.

Note you can only use the no claims on the bike OR the car.

All the best

Keith
