Well that very much depends on what you want it for.

I've got a ZX6R (assuming that's what you mean) and I would say it was pretty good at everything unless you really don't like a relatively sporty riding position and plastics.

Go for '98+ ZX6R, ZR7 is nice retro though. I think ZR7 has 5 speed gear box, forks are not adjustable and the engine is based on air cooled GPz's from '80's. I wanted ZR7, but now after I've tried NC27 I think I'm too young for a cruiser/commuter. I just want light and powerful machine with extreme amount of revs. Smile

By the way, older ZX6R's have frame that cracks, that's why I'd go for '98+.

The ZX600 could be a ZZR or ZX6R, can you be more specific? ZX6s are great fun all round sports bikes, the ZZR is a little more dull and comfortable but still a pretty capable sports tourer when in good condition (mine wasn't...).

I had a 2005 z750 and loved it. Was so much more fun than either my t'cat or my new daytona. Sounded brilliant too with a stubbied exhaust Very Happy
If your after commuting on higher speed limit roads It can be a pain because there is little protection up front, this however is what makes it so much fun when you're just playing about Smile

1997 F3...£1500 Shocked That's way overpriced, it had better be showroom condition. You could easily get a very tidy late J model for that.

Paid 600 for my F2 that needed work and 1200 for my J2 that needed tyres and mot/tax with 8k on the clock from a family member though.

Thanks
