Mods sticking up for troll accounts?

What's the craic with that? A lot of the posts were flames as well, and if I recall G revoked a negative on another account GS created Confused

This place will become /b/cf in no time if not only do mods not ban blatant trolls, they support them Laughing

GS got 100's of neg's and never got banned, so the whole karma system is flawed anyway as long as the member posts enough to counter the negative ratings.

That means that the rating was removed, automatically. Not by a mod, which would be manually.

How often do the karma scores update? It did seem to take while for Golden Showers to get banned.

From what I remember, there's a function built into the karma system that crudely detects karma bombing, and reverses it. Obviously it doesn't account for prats like him, though.

As for how long it takes to update, I vaguely remember Korn saying something along the lines of it being every night, although I'm not 100% on that.

G's position was that he was going to stay out of it and let the karma system take care of it. Which it did.

Maybe there was some splashback damage, but that's a badge of honour.

Those ratings, as you can see, were automatically revoked.

However, I certainly would have revoked the 'spam' ratings had I seen them.

Please don't abuse the ratings system; follow the ratings guidelines when making your ratings.
