Knowledgable comrades.

My car has started doing something rather perculiar.

I can start it from cold perfectly, pretty instant. When it's warmed up though, it takes ages to fire, can turn over for 30 seconds or so. Starts ok if I turn it on instantly after turning it off, but leave it a bit and I get this problem.

Fuel filter was replaced recently as part of a service.

I'm thinking fuel related? Strange that it fires up easily when cold.

Any thoughts?

Car is 2.7 TDV6 (diesel) range rover sport.

Thanks

Sounds like a fuel pressure/drv problem, cant really be any more help as i have not worked on that particular model. But a competant diesel specialist should be able to pinpoint the problem fairly easy, common rail diesels are not be messed with by the diyer! Very Happy
Where abouts in the uk are you?

Thanks, similar to my thoughts.

That's the annoying thing, it's a bit too complicated to mess around with.

I'm in Cheshire at the moment.
