Hiya all,

Been having probs with my R6 battery for a while now, and I really want to get it sorted.

Basically I charge the battery up, go for a ride, and if I have the lights on or indicate I loose the digital display on the dash, which is the first indication that my battery is dieing.

After a while no matter what I do the dash dies and even applying the brakes causes snags, the speedo also goes haywire aswell.

The RAC man managed to get the battery to charge, but I can't work out if the batter isnt charging because of a loose connection, or because the alternator is shagged, its not the state of the battery I don't think, as I bought a new one today!

Many thanks for any advice.
Cheers,
Cougs.

Yep sound like the chargeing system is naffed, if you have a manual there will be some method of testing it, otherwise its garrage + engine out time..
I know how it works on mine but i'd imagine yours is a liiiitle more sophisticated Very Happy
