All I can contribute to this discussion is:

1) Dysons blow, contrary to popular belief. We've bought three in the past and all three were returned within two days for being just dreadful vacuums, that includes the handheld ones.

However, if you do, on this album there was a song that started with the noise of a handheld vacuum cleaner, one of the super-loud really old ones and when I was a very young child it used to scare the living daylights out of me. Laughing!

Stay away from the Dyson DC16.

It is shit, as are all Dysons..

I worked in a vacuum cleaner business for over 2 years, bit different but you'll probably be just as well off with a hand held dirt devil Thumbs Up
