hi all,
my bike was made from 1986 -1992, & the early bikes came with no indicators fitted & the switch blanked off.
as my bike was made before the cut off point, its perfectly legal to ride without indicators, however i would like to fit some.
so...... i have fitted a switch unit from a 87 bike which has the indicator switch.
what next?
there is a spare connection on the loom, which is for the indicator relay.
there is also the tell-tale light on the clocks, so far so good, right?
but how do i figure out what type of relay to fit?
do i pick 4 indicators, all of the same wattage say 10w, then find a relay to match?
would it be 2 x 10w & 1 x 3w? (or whatever the tell tale bulb is)
anyone care to help?
cheers,
GAZ
