We arrived (by car) around 10 to 10:30am. Fucking queue starting from 1 mile from the junction all the way to the entrance to the NEC took us half an hour to clear 
We saw some bikes, but not too many. The weather was OK-ish in the morning, but anyone who'd seen the forecast and coming on the motorway would have thought twice about coming on a bike. Driving back in the car on the unlit M6 (sorry I'm used to the northern lit motorways  ) in the pissing rain was hard enough. The constant 50mph limits didn't make it any more fun either
