Recently bought this from a friend.
2001 Yamaha R6, 5040 miles on the clock. All standard, full service history. My friend has had it from new. £1500 couldn't say no.
Battery was totally shot. Installed a new one. Can't believe how responsive engine feels just blipping the throttle at a stand still !!
Got a few bits to sort before MOT.
Years of mucking around with with old two strokes & chinese hacks I'm a bit out of touch !!! Fastest bike I ever owned was a 600 Bandit.
Think i'm in for shock compared to my current rides which are a Suzuki GT380 and a Loncin Jl 250.
Still, planning to ride her to the Pyrénées in the summer.
Haven't posted on here for ages despite being an avid browser. So may as well take this opportunity to say Hello...again.

Rear wheel alignment looks odd though in that pic |

Pretty good bargain in that condition. Change that number plate though, it offends my eyes.
