Thanks for sorting me out & helping to diagnose my previous problem (CDI unit gone pop).

Next problems Rolling Eyes I don't have a fuel tank cap or a lock barrel! I've tried just about all avenues to find them for my bike - a '92 single headlight 125 Pegaso. Next plan is to find out if these Aprilia parts are generic - can I fit any other aprilia fuel cap / lock barrel to my bike? If no one knows for sure I guess I should measure up the fuel filler & take a picture of the dead lock barrel so you have an idea.

Again, thanks for devoting small parts of your brain to my stupid problems Mr. Green

Hi

The are probably fairly similar to others, but I would not be certain. For example I have 2 early AF1 Sinesis (bought 2 to make one good one and a load of spares), both from 1988. Both have the same style of petrol cap but when you take them to pieces the locks are different and not interchangeable.

It might be worth checking a Triumph as they seem to use almost the same petrol caps and ignition switches.

All the best

Keith
