IMO a much better option than a busa. But I'm not really the person to ask about hypersports (being on an ickle 400). Mr C has one fitted with a power commander and loves it!

btw, if your new to biking take it easy. You may have riden bikes when you were younger but born again bikers are fast becoming the most at risk group. Refresher courses and such are always recomended!

[edit] Actually 6 years aint such a long gap[/edit]

Hi

From reading his posts I think he became a born again biker 6 years ago and has had plenty of bikes since then.

Anyway, I am jealous. I want a ZX12R.

All the best

Keith

Thanks guys, Love the bike pic Keith, amusing eyes.

Yes, my last bike was just over a year ago, XJR1300, brilliant bike, but missed the faring.

Before that I had a GSX-R600 Not really my cup of tea, still quick, but boy you had to work the gears hard to get it to go. Caught me out many times.

My favorite was my first mental bike, which was my born again stage, the Triumph Daytona T595, a truly awesome machine, lots of torque, loads of grunt.

I am also looking at an R1 as well as the ZX12R, I know these are totally different bikes. I am not a full on rider, mainly sunny days, love waxing the bikes I have owned, can't scratch to save my life, would love to be able to though.

I am 6' 4" tall, so the zx12 is perfect size wize, but the R1 has so much more of a good look to it, it is difficult to chose.....

Yes, have thought about that one as well, my budget is around £5,500.00, Triumph's are expensive, but fantastic bikes! Just out of my budget a little.

I have looked at two T595's for around £4k and both were tatty.

I will keep an eye open for one as the insurance is very resonable on the 955i
