Any suggestions?

Currently using the army surplus goretex jobbies and while they are totally waterproof, my leathers don't tuck into them and my textiles aren't long enough to go over them. So I need some boots that are taller.

Also I would like to do trackdays some day and they want you to wear proper biking boots/and not show any underlayers (ooo!) when sat on the bike. Currently there is a 2-3 inch gap between the top of my boots and where my trousers end when I'm on the bike.

I've been looking at a few, but since nobody seems to post actual dimensions of the boot, I dunno what to go for.

Currently considering:

Blytz Chicago

Alpinestars Alpha Touring

If anybody has any experience of these boots or anything else they would like to suggest, would much appreciate it.

Thanks

Edit: Should also mention that I'm open to buying second hand so if you have anything suitable, get in touch. Size 10.5-11

Im only thinking about it since my gear doesnt go into/over my army jobbies. If they did, I wouldnt bother until I was going to do a track day.

With a little bit of patience you'll get a pair of Daytona Travelstars for that money off ebay no probs.

Hmm if I'm paying £80 I would rather they were new though.

Anyway, been watching a few items on eBay these last few days and managed to nab some Gaerne G-RT Aquatech boots for £20!

Review to come when I have them in my hands (and then on my feet).

I have goretex and non-goretex waterproof boots. Only the goretex ones are actually waterproof in heavy rain. I hope you get lucky.

I found some glowing reviews of those boots online, so hopefully I'm getting lucky here.
