I have a gsxr400 gk76a.i have a problem with the spark.i changed pickup coil and i bought a gsf400 cdi as i was told that they are the same and still getting no spark. Is there any one had this problem before please.help

first step is you will need to go through the power supply to the ignition system and check you are getting power at each stage

I think is the mk1.i checked the supply to tge cdi ubit and its coming good

have you checked for power at the coils? also have you checked the resistance of the coils?

I checked with a guy here that had the same pro lem and told me that it was the pickup coil.i checked the coils too and seems they are not shorted but with out knowing the values i cant be sure the coils are good.i dont have a manual.is there any bike match with gsxr400?does bandit 400 match??

has the pulser coil / pick up coil gone? That is usually one of the main problems when there are no sparks after testing the CDI power supply is ok

Hi.yes pick up/pulse coil is good as i even chamged it.but now turned out that both coils are under the ohms what manual says. But if you can give me more ideas what to check i will really appriciate
