I can't see the point in 'specialised' motorbike boots that only come up to your ankle.
Why not get some German Paratroop boots.
I've a couple of pairs of these and they last years and are so comfortable they are my first choice to go almost anywhere above trainers, and work well on bikes as they are waterproof if you treat them every now and then.
Taller bike boots that protect lower leg are nice to have but not good to walk about in. |

theres an army surplus store round the corner from me so will go and have a look for boots there |
