Not sure how many people got these but this morning I got a voting form through the post. It's to vote for the North West Region in EU Parliament and also for the Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council.

Anyone else get this, obviously some will have different borough's, and if so any suggestion's/tip's on who to vote for as I've never voted before and not sure which parties offer what policies - I know I should read up on it, which I may do later, but also good to know what other people's actual views are.

Hi

Afraid you have to make your own mind up. Just choose which set of self serving gits are the least likely to dump on your needs.

All the best

Keith

That's why I asked what policies are for each party - I'm not a sheep and don't intend to just vote for which party gets the most mentions, but it would be nice to hear people's views on the standing parties, and possible reasons to/not to vote for them - I'm sure I'm not the only one here who's a first time voter so this could be helpful to other's too.

I've just done some google-browsing and I can't really find a good site that sums up what each party is standing for. The best site I found is:
https://www.europecounts.org.uk/your_candidate

if you click on the area of the UK you're in you get a list of the parties + candidates standing, and then you can click the party names to get to their websites and read a bit more about them.
