Surely its easier to dream when you haven't passed.

When you have, you cease to have a good excuse for not riding whatever it is you're dreaming about.

I'd argue its worse after you have passed haha!

Over a week since i passed my test and no bike yet due to my 125 being stolen and recovered before my tests i am still waiting on my WR to be returned so i can sell it and get a bigger bike, The theft didnt help my preniums either so i'm hating life atm! Crying or Very sad

The worst part about passing your test is when you physically own your next bike and get to see it every day, but aren't yet insured on it and have to keep riding your 125 for a month or two. Sad

My plan is keep the WR as a work bike and get a 33bhp machine for weekends then when the licence goes full after two years the WR will be paid off so slap some money down on something new and more powerfull.

That plan is looking shaky now Sad

Sorry to hear your bike got stolen. What security did you have SupermotoFan ?

I've still got to get my 125 cleaned up and sold before getting the big one

At the time I had the steering lock on and chain round the back wheels going through the wheel and frame, it was found with minor damage and will be coming back to me very soon in new condition and its not going down as a category, just got to sell it, loved it though, great bike, had a arrow system, tail tidy and hand guards

No, dreaming is the good bit. Buying the first one and then knowing you want the next one but also know the wife will skin you alive whilst sleeping if you mention it... that's the worst part! Smile

Not really you can still dream about the bikes and you can't be let down, say you really wanted a CB500. You manage to get your license purchase one and find them extremely boring.

Hmm. 'tis a thought; however, this one has been around for 25 years so I guess I'll just bide my time till after Christmas and then break it to her. (new bike, not trading her in) Wink

My girlfriend has started dieting since i've had the bike, I'm worried she's trying to get down to pillion size, and I never want someone on the back of any bike I own.
