Went up to London earlier on the CBR, aiming for 115 on the speedo as it is in kph. It was struggling to hit that, any headwind was sending it backwards Shocked

Thought it was the restrictors raping the top end.

Then I remembered it's not running standard gearing, and the speedo reads from the front sprocket, so I was probably doing about 90.

Thought about speedo correction, as far as it goes the obvious choice would be a speedo healer, but being a cable this isn't an option.

Is there any way to solve this? Brick Wall

If you can run a smart phone or gps with speedo at the same time, you'll be able to reference your true speed as indicated by GPS against your measured speed in kmh. See what speeds show up on your bike's speedo at 30,40,50 mph since these are probably the most important ones when it comes to speed cameras.

Alternatively, if you don't fancy using the expensive tech, a cycle speedo will solve the issue. But trying to calibrate your speedo when it's mechanically driven will be a right chore.

Just make mental references against your calibrated GPS runs
