While doing a few other jobs on the engine I decided to swap out the spark plugs for some iridiums, was tightening the last one (4) when something gave way. A look inside shows the thread of the plug and the tip inside the thread on the head. All manner of implements don't seem to be able to shift it, has anyone got any ideas on how to shift it without taking the head off?

Cheers, Tom

good news is you did it tightening it so it's won't be seized in, how deep is the plug well and how big a plug was it?

That has got to be one the best things I've read on here yet. I'm now going to see if there's any more threads on his rebuild. Shocked
