so... got my 125 bike and need a rear tyre, but gonna get a full set because standard ones are bollox.... every time i go over a white line in the road the bike goes light! Laughing Rolling Eyes so year... new tyres. Any good/cheap ones out there? Current tyres are:

front:70/90-17 38p
rear: 100/80-17 52p

anything bigger that could fit on? anything decent out there for not much money?

£46 for a Michelin Pilot, although it's a 43S rating
£57 for a Pirelli. All from Tyre tec, quite a cheap website, I get my tires from there

top man! cheers Smile what do you reckon is the best between them for use throughout the winter? and what size do you think i could squeeze up to? 100 on front 120/130 on rear?

Pilot Sporty are about the best on a 125 IMHO.

I would fit the recommended size. If you fit an oversize one onto a rim it will 'balloon' and probably not give as much grip as a correct sized quality one. Plus it will cost you more coins.!

Metzeler ME22 have been around for a number of years too.

I've not used them myself, but am considering it, £32 per tyre.
