Just wondered how far I can get with a full tank (18 litres) on my new CBR 600 PGM-FI?

I'll be using it to commute to work on which is roughly a 54 mile round trip each day.

The route consists mostly of 60mph A-roads & about a 4 mile stretch of 70mph dual carriage-way,followed by about 5 miles of town (30/40 mph) road. Crying or Very sad

Anyone know what to expect out of a full tank???

My car calculates the tank range but sadly the bike doesn't....lol.

18ltr tank on a 600cc engine should get you between 130 - 180 miles, it all depends on how you ride it.

I would guess around 150 miles, depending on exactly how you ride.

Best bet is to fill up then do the journey and fill up again to see how much petrol you've used... then use one of those old fashioned calculating devices Smile.

It will do about 120 miles until it hits reserve.

Best thing you can do is fill it up, reset your trip meter then ride it till you hit reserve.

I'd say 130-140 to reserve. Though that was on the carbed model.
