Aprilia RS125 2006 model wont start

Hey there, been working on my bike past few days because it wouldnt start. did all the standard maintenance cleaning the carb, air filter checking if everything is working fine.

After a few days we finally got the bike started but only by pouring petrol into the head although the carb is filling with petrol. so I think something is not sucking the petrol form the carb into the head.
Any suggestions please as im stumped

Only thing between carb and engine is the rubber inlet manifold and reed block. You should be able to visibly check the reed block. If you've taken the fuel line off the carb and made sure your definitely getting fuel to the carb then it's carb off again and soak the internals in carb cleaner, remove each of the jets and blast them with cleaner, poke a fine bit of wire through them and make sure you can see through them then refit it all.

Id also fit a new spark plug and fully charge your battery
