I had been keeping an eye on a Section 59 thread on pepipoo
https://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=75059&st=0 with there being more than a few people on BCF who are unhappy with the judge, jury and executioner powers handed out to police officers and PCSO in respect of S59.

Anyhow the great minds on pepipoo managed to pick a hole in this particular S59 and direct the OP in how and what to say to whom to appeal his S59 (given by two PCSO for having 'too loud an exhaust in a residential area' to a car that had the engine running but was parked / stationary, my tedious link to bikes and posting in general bike chat).

OP returns from his latest trip to the station, having spoken to someone higher up than desk monkey and armed with the correct bits of the law and how the S59 he was given was invalid. The inspector he spoke to said the S59 was invalid and will be removed, written confirmation to follow. Could one day be worth knowing IF you get / have gotten a dastardly S59. Wink

TL:DR? Guy gets S59, appeals to rozzers and has S59 removed.

I've been following that, PCSO's are a fucking waste of space.

Have you also seen the other thread on there? Some bloke had sorned his car, it's on private land and covered up (in his garden) and still they clamped it?

That wasn't tedious, it was quite interesting! It was, however, a bit of a tenuous link... ;)
