Hi Guys
There are a few threads about the HP4 vs S1000RR and other bikes on here and since I am one of the few in UK who actually treid one on the road I thought I'd share my experience.

Was lucky enough to get invited by MCN to do the road test - MCN Dec 5th issue, there's even a cpl pic's of me in the mag
Anyway some of the things I saw in different threads about the HP4 was about how similar it looks to the s1000rr, which is true, however handling wise it's completely different creature on the road (Haven't tried on track) .. the semi active suspension may seem like a gimmick, but trust me it's not .. it really works and unless you're an actual racer or something I don't think you'd be able to setup your suspension as well as the bike does automatically.
The light weight (probably mainly the difference in the weight of the wheels) means it has a completely different feel than the s1000rr - steering is so light that you wonder if you are actually riding a superbike - I can definitely recommend a test ride, I was very surprised I think you will be also.
PM me if you want more details on the various new bits on the bike. ____________________ Q: Why Michael47? A: 0-46 was taken! |

HP4 is the S1000RR but how it should be.
I'm not forking out £16000 for a bike I can only use a third of it's capabilities.
The S1000RR I have now is Moooooor than sufficient.
If I was going for another super bike it would be one of them Italian Viagra jobbies, Pannigali Panachetta or WevaTF they call it. ____________________ W-ireless A-rtificial L-ifeform L-imited to O-bservation P-eacekeeping and E-fficient R-epair |

Nice.
The even more perfect in-town commuter!
Just need to get a (stupidly high paying) job and a commute to justify it . |
