Had this problem with my last two tank pads now. After I've fitted them, they started peeling away after a few weeks. With my last tank pad I used glue to stick back the corners that were coming away, but when taking it off a few months later it almost damaged the paint work of the tank. Are there any other not so strong adhesives that will stick the tank pad down without damaging the paint?

Could buy a new tank pad but would rather keep the one I have. It's a ball ache to get it perfectly centre.

You could try plumbers silicone. Sticks most stuff, peels off when you're finished with it.

Stating the obvious but make sure the tank is spotlessly clean before applying the pad and free of any solvents like WD40, ACF50 etc as these will stop the tank pad sticking.
