Am I missing something

It amazes me that part of your profile is not "what bike do you have?"

People post things and I think, wonder what bike they have and there does not seem to be any way of telling. Other than the obvious names like Prilla, although we do not know what Prilla he has.....

Or am I missing something and there is a way to tell?

btw, I do not have a bike at the moment, looking for one.

Plenty of people mention it in the 'free text' part of their profile, some even put pictures in.

Lots of people have a pic as their avatar or mention it in their sig.

Lots of people have more than one bike.

Yes I have seen the pics, although establishing model from some of them is very hard....

I guess so many of us actually go and meet each other that we just know what people have.

As mentioned above, that's the idea of the public bio... not everyone wants to say, or can be bothered to fill it in/keep it up to date etc.

Use it if you want to, don't if you don't.
