It's worth watching but the description is pure invention, no idea why people do that.
The clip is years old and from a cruise ship.

That's nothing.
The crowd next door are still ordering drinks. Shocked

The ferries have their furniture either bolted to the deck or restrained by chains. Vehicles are either strapped or chained to pads on the deck in severe conditions - bikes are usually strapped to a bulkhead if necessary. They're very experienced at dealing with rough conditions - we get a lot of them over winter. In fact it's blowing a hoolie at the moment and we've got gusts of 60-70mph forecast overnight. A light breeze. Very Happy

That isn't the Shetland ferry by the way - it's completely wrong. Judging by the determined drinking I'd put my money on it being a Baltic ship. Laughing

Don't ask that Southron poofter, he's Westron Isles, not Zetland. Wink

+1 for that being Russkis, but flying into Sumburgh isn't a barrel of laughs either. Cloud, cloud, cloud, FUCK! SEA! SEA! S- BANG, runway.

"There will be a short delay while we offload some luggage in order to let us take off" isn't the most re-assuring announcement either.

Western Isles??? I'm on Orkney. Rolling Eyes Wink

The approach to Sumburgh is somewhat entertaining though. There's a road crosses the end of the runway too. Laughing

Dan Air (Colloquially known as Dan Dare) lost a load of passengers flying out of Sumburgh.
The take off consisted of, stand on the brakes and rev the utter fuck out the engines then let her go and hang on for dear life.
Something jammed on take-off and it ditched in the sea.
