Has anyone tried the above and what's your opinion? Was in the store today thinking about getting some, salesman says they are just renamed oxford ones. They do look the same and have the same controller but just thought I would ask if anyone has tried them before I buy. They are on sale for £30 so seem a bargin.

Thanks in advance

I have them, though they are my first pair of heated grips so nothing to compare to. Mine are 'digital' which means 2 heat settings, low as standard and a high option. I tried high initially and they were too hot for riding around town on a cold night, without muffs etc. When commuting I use tucano urbanos and the low heat setting, which has been perfect so far. Exceptionally cold weather might mean using the hot setting but only for motorway/fast stuff. Perhaps because I have summer gloves I find the heat on hot too direct? Anyway- recommended. Just remember to turn them off if they are wired to your battery!

You must be loaded, I wired mine in myself. You use a relay, that way they turn on and off wih the ignition.

Yep this.

There's even a rather good Stinkwheel step by step how to guide on the forum for anyone unsure of how to use a relay. Thumbs Up
