I really feel foolish now. Asked so many questions, but almost coming off at 70 does it to you.. Laughing .

Does this look all good? I'm worried as there is a few small gaps in the bolts of the rear shock, but it has all been put back on in the same order.

Just a "all good" or "that doesn't look quite right" would be really helpful. I am being overly cautious, I know.

Hopefully someone can tell me otherwise, but it looks very similar at the back to the GPz, and although I don't have any photos, when I put the rear shock back on I didn't have any gaps like that on any of the nuts and bolts (not the bottom mount, about half way up in your picture), you sure you put it back exactly the same way? if so are you sure you haven't cross threaded the nut and that's stopped it going on further?

If someone can confirm they are similar I'll take a couple of photos of that area of my bike (with the wheel still on of course)

I'll try get a couple of photos when I get home and see if it's similar to yours!

Hi

The dog bones 'clamp' onto the bush in the linkage and needs a small gap between the dog bone and the linkage itself so that the bush can rotate in the linkage as things move.

However can't remember where the seals are on the linkage. A lot of bikes have a U shaped cup with a rubber seal in the inside to go over the bush to provide a seal. Some bikes just have an O ring to seal the bearing in the linkage.

However one thing is I suspect you will not get the chain back over the end of the swinging arm. You might have to take the arm off again to loop the chain back inside the arm. Not certain on the ZZR though (depends on the chain length and swinging arm length).

All the best

Keith
