I was reading a magizine the other day breifly in asda with an sv 650 in which was super pimped but cannot remember which magazine it was in does anyone know?

Performance Bike magazine have an interview with JHS who are good at tuning SV's in this months mag.
A few years ago PB tunes the tits off one by throwing huge amounts of cash at at and making it unreliable. IIRC it was still shit.

If you're competing in a race class, can make sense - though personally I'd just consider going for a different race class. The 'minitwins' class was originally started to be a cheap one, which is where they were first commonly raced.
