Bagster tank cover (protector) zx6r issue

Bought this for touring, not sure if this should be here or workshop, but I'm after info from anyone that's had one.

The strap system sucks for this bike, the only way I can see is securing the front round the headstock, but the casting on the yoke (full lock stop) looks like its going to shear the webbing. Am I just being paranoid?
Has anyone had this strap break?

I've used 'em for years and never had a strap snap, just route it sensibly and check that it's not caught on any cables or wires before tightening up. If yours has them, the plastic clips on the side will keep it secure.
