I am sure having watched the late night WSB/BSB everyone will have already entered the competition to do two parade laps before WSB race 2 at Silverstone? No not yet?

Anyway I thought Id better check the terms and conditions, thinking it would say something like no one under 21 or only people who have held a licence for four years etc.

So here is part of them;

In order to facilitate a safe and effective parade lap, all participants in the GOSBK! Initiative will be required to strictly adhere to the following general regulations at all times. Please ask a member of staff if you have any questions about any of the points listed below.

1. Only participants with Pirelli tyres will be admitted.

So only people with Pirelli tyres, does that mean that Dunlop or Michelin tyres will make a dangerous and uneffective parade lap?

Or could it be that Silverstone have a sponsorship deal with Pirelli?

What sort of rule is that? What difference does it make what tyres you have on your bike as to whether you can parade round Silverstone?

If anyone can guess what tyres I have, answers on the back of a postcard!

I mean a deal in general.. as in all the WSBikes have to use them... thus it would make sense that they wanted to promote it in other ways.

Doesn't sound like that 'great' an opportunity... now if they leant you a bike to do it on Smile.
