I have been looking for a bike on auto-trader, eBay and the motorcycle news websites.
Tried gumtree and adtrades although noticed some if the ads are years old.
Is there anywhere else people can recomend.

FAQ 11/ Where Should I be looking to find bikes for sale?

There is a world beyond the web, you know;. Dealers, Local Papers, especially the free-ads; post-card boards in shop windows; word of mouth. Not EVERY-ONE is living full time in the wired world!

But main thing is, bikes make up less than 5% of road transport. There is only 1 bike for every twenty cars, so to find the same number of bikes for sale as you might find cars, you are likely to have to look 20x as far afield. And no one is falling over themselves to sell you a bike, like they might a car, washing machine or new lap-top; market is not saturated and is strong, so unless you want to pay full price in the dealers for a brand new one, you have to work for your bargain and go hunt it out.

So you look everywhere, not just on the net, and you search out the more obscure free-add sites ON the net. They change all the time, we don't keep lists, up to you to do the graft of searching them out, I'm afraid.

As a side note, It sucks for choice when your limited on cash.

Also, the fridayad website sucks. the "loading" circle of death is used

@U_W
Have you thought about getting a scooter?, such as a Piagio x9 250; I see them on ebay going cheap on occasion.
