as per title really
never had a go, a mate's mum or someone related to him makes wine and soap and all sorts... i think it's pretty interesting.
i don't drink hardly, just the odd bottle of wine when i see the mrs (she lives 200 mile away, so not often), but the idea of making my own wine and savouring it of an evening appeals
anyone got any tips for a n00b? ____________________ CBT - 17/09/12 * Theory - 23/10/12 * Mod1 - 05/03/13 * Mod2 - 25/03/13 * BOSH!

I made some out of damsons a few years ago, but it was too strong for me. Made some mead the next year, with assorted honey.
My one effort at sending it to someone (via supposedly reliable courier company) failed miserably, it leaked before the courier delivered it (wankers) ... and so I chucked it all out in the end, all too alcoholicy tasting, no flavour anyway.
Left several bottles of it down the end of the road and somebody took it for all they knew I could have pissed in those bottles, but someone took them, and they drank them (as I intended, cos I never would). ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

I have made wine assorted wine type drinks quite a lot. Depends on how you plan on doing it really, whether you go for kits or from fruit juices, more akin to a Tubo cider but still quite winey if you were to add extra sugar.
Generally though just be careful with sanitation and you should get something drinkable. ____________________ Willson - "If you go out on that CBR600 in the winter, you're going to do more miles on your side than on your wheels."
