It's not the bike for you, if you have to ask.

I probably have had a working speedo on a competition enduro bike, but haven't paid attention really.

Nice bike. Presume that's also the latter front suspension, at least.

Still do fancy a bigger-cc 2 stroke some time for stupidity, though reckon 200cc is ideal for fun for me. (Did have a 98 300EXC with 05 suspension.)

Yes 05 125 forks on it aswell, It really isnt what you want to ride everyday on the road. Speed? On its current gearing not much over 70mph !

As for time taken it was just a box of bits and a frame 4 months ago

A rare beast is the KTM380 these days. I remember the SX380 being tested against a late model CR500 back in the late 90's and there was'nt that much difference in the performance on track.

The Husquvarna WR360 is another big old grunty 2-stroke that's very hard to find these days.

Very nice result from a box of bits.Would love a set of those yokes on my 450EXC.

I would recommend some neoprene fork gaiters and the little sock for the lower bearing of the shock absorber.I have them on my bike and worth the pittance that they cost.
