I recently put some HID's in the bandit 1200, it has the projector style lights as standard so it was a quick install and line the beam up correctly.

Now on more two occasions since fitting I have avoided a smidsy. One was early morning a bus went to pull out and then jammed brakes on, it was coming out of their depot and many times they have pulled out and waved the 'oh I'm sorry but fuck you' wave.

The next was a woman at a roundabout, she slowed, then sped up then jammed on the brakes. I was on the roundabout to her right.

The third was with the mrs on the back. She though I was silly messing and couldn't see the point in brighter lights. We were coming from a NSL to a 30 and just after the 30 there's a road on the right. Car approached, I'd seen it and rolled well off the throttle(already slowing somewhat) and the gone to cover the brakes, dunno about anyone else but I can sense the ones that intend to pull out but he dipped the front of his car and waited til I'd passed, obviously he intended pulling straight out but saw me well in advance and I believe all these were avoided because of the brighter, correctly adjusted, hid lights.

They are a much safer option if you can fit then do so, and for the proxy amount they cost on ebay it really is a cheap safety upgrade!

Just make sure you adjust the beam correctly and don't use the high beam withing 3 miles of civilisation or you will burn the clothes off folk Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
