Whenever looking for gear these always comes up cheapest. There RRP is the same just in euros so your getting around a quarter off before sales.
Just wondering if people have done this before and if they have had any troubles? I've tried the jacket on before so know the size so won't have to send it back, that is the only problem I could see coming from this, anyone got any others?

I've bought from fc-moto.de, motoin.de, louis.de, biker-land.de, automotoracing.com (Andorra), and others without problems.
The only issue is sending returns (doesn't fit or whatever) eats into the savings you're making; if you do make a return, use a site like parcel-to-germany.co.uk or similar, cheaper than Royal Mail and they pick up from your house / work. ____________________ Bikes: S1000R, SH350; Exes: Vity 125, PS125, YBR125, ER6f, VFR800, Brutale 920, CB600F, SH300x4

Same with hein gericke, prices are the same in euros as pounds so a saving to be had, they will ship to uk from Belgium or Germany as well, guarantee euro wide so no issues there.
if having a day out there is a hg dealer about 50 miles off the tunnel in belgium who speaks English and will get in anything you may want to buy. ____________________ Nobby the Bastard: How yo tell the difference between the actual japanese and her just screaming because she's had live fish stuck up her arse? Purchases from other EU countries do not have any VAT complications; as a consumer, you pay the exporting country's VAT, that's it. The whole point of being in a Common Market is to eliminate the economic overhead of things like customs.
Andorra has a customs union with the EU, but I don't know the details. I don't recall having any issues importing from them. ____________________ Bikes: S1000R, SH350; Exes: Vity 125, PS125, YBR125, ER6f, VFR800, Brutale 920, CB600F, SH300x4

If you know the size is right, I'd go for it. I've been ordering more stuff from inside the EU recently, no problems yet, the tracking has even been better than UK-to-UK.
Worst case, your credit card company should ultimately end up refunding you.
I do feel a tiny bit of a Daily Mail twinge about stitching up UK sellers, but the whole point of the common market is to drive down prices for consumers by cutting through bullshit like our swingeing import duty and taxation, so that's all right then. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
