In my opinnion, new mini and prius have the worst dizzy tail lamps which annoy me every time. What do you think?
P.s. I'm posting from android and can't make a quote properly sorry.

If you mean the type of light cluster with the indicators set inside (!) the brake/rear lights then yes I agree they're ridiculously stupid as it confuses anyone following when they have an array of colours blinking all at the same time. A very stupid design I think really and probably generates accidents as its that harder to see the indicators when the brake lights or driving lights are on.

Yes, I meant bright break lights. New mini has lights with colour between orange and red, prius has too bright red LEDs which kills my eyes.
I just can't believe what car designers are thinking!
I always overtake new mini and prius on my bike, I pull over on my car to let some cars go in front of me.

To be honest, some indicators on cars these days are barely noticable due to the way the cluster is designed and also sun glare it's quite dangerous, and really really annoying.

I find that's the bigger problem than the brightness of tail lights. You can completely fail to notice the indicator flashing in the centre of the brake light...

This. Passats are especially bad, I gave one a good blast with the horn only to see a dimly blinking LED when I got closer.

The worse culprits for blinding you at night are those reckless speedsters with extremely bright flashing blue lights.

I find the current trend of putting the indicator inboard of the headlamp rather than on the corners of the car very confusing.

For one thing, you used to be able to see them when the car was sideways on. Now you can't.

I'm not so much bothered by the brightness of brake lamps but I do get VERY annoyed when people have their fog lamp on when there is good visability.

Never been behind either of these cars. But them IED or LED lights made for country lanes really bug me. They just blind me from the opposite side of the road, it's almost like they have high-beam on!

Agree. Passats seem to be the worst to me. And I hate LED tail lights (hate the flicker you notice when glancing past them).

All the best
