The bastard came out of nowhere! Laughing

The argument soon got physical, luckily I had a hammer on me.

And I got witness. Whistle

As a game the newer GTAs are probably way better, but in terms of atmosphere Vice City really is in a league of it's own.

Playability and mapwise (size only) San Andreas walked over Vice City, Helis, Jets, Prop planes, Parachutes/base jumping, jet packs, trains, quads, pedal bikes pickup trucks (I always liked stealing one, then seeing how many more I could steal and hook together making a train of pickup trucks) guns, levels and the ability to do other things.

But imagine you took all of that and put it into Vice City, it would frankly be the best game ever, I can't believe it had it's 10 year anniversary a few months back.

Weird, considering that SA in the above context was better than Vice City, Vice City is the only one I will play over andover again, and the music was so much better.

My brother and I got lost in a car trying to find the Miami turnpike a few years back. Then I twigged it was vice city.

san andreas was the best in my opinion Smile you could buy businesses! you could get your pilots license and feel like a pure god when you went to the airport and they would open the gates for you... also loved how you could pick what you wore too Very Happy the missions were class aswell! Smile gone are the days when gta first came out and it was an overhead view :O

Yes for that and that alone, but the cast, story, graphics, general feel of Vice City stomped all over SA, the music in SA sucked balls, I would like to see everything from SA ported to Vice City.

And, lets face it after this \/ you're all there

Vice City > San Andreas > 4 > all others

I don't disagree that San Andreas had more features, bigger map etc, but it just wasn't Vice City.

Again 4 was better than Vice in many ways, but ultimately less fun.

Vice City has a je ne sais quoi about it

San Andreas has better humour, a character that can swim, aircraft, skills, better weapons, a better map, better motorcycles etc etc.

Vice city was good, and it's still a million times better than 4, but San Andreas was better.

I even liked the music better, despite being a confirmed 80's music fan.
