My SH300 has developed a rattle; 7 months old, 8k miles. I made a video.

I've touched, poked and prodded everything I could easily get at, it doesn't seem to be anything vibrating and loose on the outside of the engine. At the 20 second mark in the video, where I stuck my phone near the head end of the engine, it seemed to get louder. It also seems to turn almost into a buzz when the engine is revved up, though it's not very loud.

Any informed guesses as to what it could be?

Sounds like a cam chain rattle which is being caused by a failed tensioner.

Hold on, its 7 months old?! Its a warranty job and don't be fobbed off at the garage.

Although other members comments will come in handy, lets see what the rest of the BCF massive says

Got some oil in there? Is it getting to the head?

Either way, that's one for Honda-san to sort out.
