Only have the one key for my 58 reg Hayabusa Sad what are my options in getting a spare? And at what cost? Thanks..

Doesn't a Busa that new have an immobiliser in the key? If so you will have to get it programmed to the ECU.

Was under the impression that European Hayabusas used chipped keys, so a blank from eBay wouldn't work like that. 2008 models onwards have a security system built in.

my local key cutting shop charges £50 for a key i think maybe less .

i mind the guy saying it cost quite a lot for the thing to program them

It can be expensive to get a dealership to program the ECU to accept the new key, however it is much cheaper to get a new key now that it will be if you lose the only one you have!

try express keys in orpington in kent, always good help for bike stuff

had a GSXR600 with immobiliser from police auctions with no keys, sent him the bits and he sorted it out
