Posted: 17:25 - 02 Jan 2013 Post subject: Balaclava slipping over eyes when putting helmet on? |
 |
|
Does anyone else have this problem? It really frustrates me to the point where unless I really need it I just don't bother with my silk balaclava any more.
Whenever I put my helmet on the top of the balaclava slips over my eyes and obstructs my view so I have to take my helmet off, readjust and retry, it's almost impossible if there isn't a mirror there to see what I'm doing. From looking at the shape of the balaclava the hole for eyes is on a slant in neutral position which means you have excess material,
That's pretty much the shape of it:

I'm just wondering if anyone else suffers from this...disorder,
Thanks,
Seigi. |

Wearing a balaclava always gave me a painful cramp behind the ears that stopped me from being able to ride. ____________________ Bikers make great organ donors, get 115 on your licence today. |

1. Lift lid slightly.
2. Grab balaclava at back of neck.
3. Pull balaclava down at back so front part rises.
4. Pull lid down.
5. Your BCF character takes a -10 MP (Man Points) hit and +1 STPD (Stupid) for having someone else point out the fucking obvious to you. Your alignment is now Chaotic N00b for 3 turns.
[EDIT] Oh well, if you're going to rate my post as abusive, you humourless cunt, I'd better make it worth my while...

I use one of the "snood"-type neck warmers too.
Pulled up over the crown of my head, then put the helmet on towards the back of my head first (to hold the back of the snood in place), then slide the helmet over the front of my head ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N
