When I read the BST carbon wheels advert on the first page.

Saw a quote from the late X of these shires when he'd raved about the BSTs on his bike.

No real point to this, just strange they're using forum quotes so flog wheels.

Lucky bugger, even WH smiths hasn't got it round here Mad



Agreed though, using a forum quote does seam a little odd to try to flog something so expensive.

Yeah they don't seem to stock it near where I live, but went to visit the parents today, and picked up a copy.

Guessing they didn't mention that he ended up with smashed wheels and a broken bike? (Believe he did with those.)

Not unusual these days - especially with the way a lot of 'IRL' media now gets a good bit of content from forum content.

Had some (fuzzy) pics I took at a trackday of Maurice crashing used in a R&G advert if I remember - think he got some free replacement mushrooms or something.

i haven't bought pb for ages until last months "street triple" emblazoned front cover and promises of loads of street triple features inside, 5 pages in it was all over and full of crappy adverts Evil or Very Mad
