Prices depend on where you take it, which service it is and what they find to be wrong. Some services are simple and you can do yourself (oil change, plugs, tightening things) while others are more in-depth (eg 16,000 mile service on my bike is valve clearances and that's a pain).

What is needed at each service should be detailled in your manual, or if you don't have one, go get a Haynes and it'll tell you in there.

Just go to your local bike shop and ask - they should be able to give you an estimate.
