Was out playing on a roundabout tonight, for a laugh I said I'd swap my slider for a friends just to take the "newness" away from them for her
They were plastic ( ? ) spidi ones..
Basically...
For anyone that was at boxhill etc etc. knows that I couldn't seem to keep the bike steady and keep going around in one go etc , kept lifting the bike up slightly so kinda like a 50p shaped roundabout!
Well basically, tonight, after not doing KD for ages, I was firstly doing the same as before, then I started getting a /bit/ smoother and more consistent, then playing about sticking left leg out and the bike became more stable and I could lean further, I was actually getting the pegs down at this point and started keeping my knee down for longer.
Then I put the plastic spidis on (instead of my full Ti ones) and suddenly I was lapping the roundabout non-stop with my knee down?!??!?!!?!?
They had a lot more feel etc, and I just felt more stable and so on...
I was going a bit faster so that /could/ explain it but is there a particular reason why normal plastic sliders are a much better feel that the titanium ones?
I do like my titanium ones but tempted to go get some plastic ones again as they feel sooo much better!
Are the plastic ones with the titanium rods in any good?
Good feel but still with sparks? could be a compromise ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

It's probably more to do with better speed, but plastic do slide a little less so give a better feel.
I still have no clue where my pink-ish Sparky motrax one's went ____________________ Back on a Blade. Just feels so right. |
