Hi my Kawasaki 1998 ZZR600 is only firing on three cylinders. It stalls, and stinks of fuel, and fuel is in the exhaust system.

Due to illness I have not used the bike since last July, as I am now on the mend I decided to get the bike out of the garage and get it ready for a run.

Any ideas what the problem would be?

Have you tried cleaning the plugs?

Try cutting back the ht leads as they meet the plug caps or even better, replace the leads and caps. Common problem on older Kawasaki bikes causing exactly the problem you describe.

One of the leads might have popped out of the plug cap. As has been said above though, you'd do well to replace the HT leads for brand new ones and perhaps some brand new spark plugs too.
