We've been clearing out stuff in the petrol station and came across these little fellas, though I would have one for my bike.
Now I have him should he sit at the front or on the back of my bike? Or should I get myself another one and have one at each end!

Thanks
J

'kin hell DaFrostyOne, calm down! I'm guessing you're one of these "no to multi national company" types then!

Nothing wrong with Sainsbury's. They feed me and pay me quite happily, can't complain there, even if they are in the crapper at the moment over lack of staff, lack of money, lack of sales etc.

I worked there for three long years. It was the biggest mistake of my entire life.

The way that the company works, it is designed so that you completely lose all self esteem and believe that you are condemned for life as a supermarket worker.

ninety percent of the people I knew that worked ther could get better jobs easily, but were just told they weren't good enough for anything else by the management.

Not a nice place to work. Confused

I understand what Mark is saying, I get that quite a bit, I've worked there for 2 years while I'm at 6th form.

You get blackmailed into working a lot of overtime too, but as long as you stand your ground you're fine. Obviously a lot of people don't and end up having to work a lot more than they have to, but that's their silly fault.

I'm only there for extra pocket money to afford my bike etc. so I don't care much about anything else, wouldn't describe it as the biggest mistake of my life.

Fair point - I work there part time now and I would never consider wasting years of my life working there full time.

Sainsbury's is for part timers who are at school/college/whatever to get extra money, parents who work in the evenings and have kids to look after during the day, old people and store managers, noone else. If anyone is working there full time with nothing else to do then you should have revised more for your exams. Wink

*mumbles something about doing a proper 3 year degree*

In fact, a lot of people that work in Sainsbury's are people that have degree's in damn good subjects (maths, engineering, etc.) but no company will touch them because of lack of experiance.

So, you can add them to my list of people who can work there!
