I got ours out today, fired them up, got the tyre up to pressure, lubed the chains, etc. I do start them and warm them up regularly too and keep the batteries charged though.

And I took them both out for a blast which put a massive grin on my face. Mr. Green

Weather forecast is good too so I'll be using mine for work for the first time in a while. Thumbs Up

I started the Auld CG125 last Wednesday on third attempt.
Fired up and ran beautifully on petrol that's over a year old.

Smile

Old petrol will probably be good for start and possible even run as normal It may just have lost it's edge if you are looking for 100% performance against fresh fuel.

Just put the VFR back together today. Fired up first prod of the starter, just like always. Thought I'd better take it out for a blast (for testing purposes obviously, its not like I wanted to...).

I was bloody awful after 3 months off the bike, 50 pencing corners, death gripping the bars. Bike is running fine though. When I got back, I text the gf, and she said "Nice one, did you sort out insurance then?"

Insurance. Shocked (facepalm)

Bloody hell zen, you lucky bastard.

Had a decent little blast today, just pottering about like.
Bringing the bike home, hit a ton to remove the cobwebs of course.
Then out to meet the fambo for lunch.

Glad I had kept it stored instead of leaving it out in all weathers.

Wulfstan, you are being a prick again.
Everyone on BCF knows that I dont mind riding in all weathers, the BCF BBQ journey is enough proof of that.

I do mind watching a bike getting destroyed by the weather.

The DR randomly dropped 10psi when I didn't use it for a week. I'm going to put that down to the -10 temps we was having at the time. Topped it up and it has been fine since

Well I have been riding all winter *smug expression for which there is no 'emoticon'* so I got mine out today just like every other day

Laughing

But the weather has been absolutely fantastic today. I went past H-cafe on the A4074 near Oxford and it was packed with bikers, it's good to see so many other bikers on the road! And points to the guy who tore past me doing a very impressive wheelie just outside H-cafe going insanely fast.

I love the sunshine, it makes me so happy Mr. Green

Indeed. I've continuously had insurance for about 5 years, so I don't even think about it. And then over christmas, they tried to charge me extra on my bike insurance because I hadn't told them my car had been broken into (even though I hadn't claimed). So I told them where to stick it.

Must get insurance. Must get insurance. Must get insurance.

Went out on the CG for the first time in weeks. The oil level was low, below the min mark in fact, so I topped tat up as much as I could, brimmed the tank and headed off to the Cat and Fiddle.

I couldn't find the BCF group from the other thread, the pub wasn't taking cards either so I stood in line for 15 minute for fuck all Mad Pissed off back to Crewe and ate at the McD's in Congleton for lunch and still had a good run out.

The bike is running okay-ish, the exhaust is blowing and needs patching before I replace it in a few weeks/months, the odometer was playing up and spinning wildly backwards and forwards depending on forward speed and engine revs Shocked and the bike was struggling to reach 50 at times on the flat although would surpass 60 on other bits Confused

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Fuck off you boring cunt.

Doing more miles in a year on a bike doesn not offset the fact that you are an unsufferable arsehole who can barely spell.
You call me for my spelling and make a spelling mistake well done little boy .
