Hi guys just curious, my front brake has suddenly come back to life, and when i do sharp stops (sharp enough to get the back light) the bike stalls, even with the clutch in.... and when grabbed in plenty of time.

Its ok when you slow gently but not when sharply.

The only thing i can think of is when it stops the kickstand moves down and forward abit, activating the 'aaargh panic hes trying to pull away with his sidestand down' switch, thus making it stall. Anyone else had this?

could be the side stand switch, could be clutch drag, coud be you carb needs looking at or it could be you need a new bike I'm selling my sachs xtc for £1800 Laughing

wow could it be that? i know my bike dont idle whatsoever it goes from 500rpm to 2k rpm range with choke off, with choke on... it can go up to like 7k sometimes Neutral Also not helped by the carb being impossible to get to...

Could the carb need a new needle valve? or indeed a whole new carb?
