CBR 125R Electric Problems

Hey guys,
can someone help?
my CBR 125 is an absolute dog and just keeps breaking in one way or another. Most problems i can hold back with some work but this is just killing me... its the electrical system.

basically if i sit on the bike or move it in some way, the lights on the dash flicker along with the headlights and brake lights. no hugely but they flicker. also the indicators are doing the double speed thing if they, and flash way to fast. I recently took of the dash to replace some gauge lights and thought it could be a dodgy block connector? Finally the bike has a stupid datatool alarm and occasionally the alarm will do its short beeps say every second, then if it does finally jump into normal alarm i put in into service mode so it'll shutup. but i think its battery... i've charged the batt so its not that.. unless i need a new one?

Does anyone know of a common problem these are the symptoms of?

NOTE: I do not want to fit/buy a new loom

My loom is fucked.

I may have a wiring loom in the shed you can have for postage. The issue with the CBR is the wiring is just a fucker to get at.

Remove the tank, check the connectors under that.

I used to have wires near the yoke which would pinch and turn lights off and blow the fuse.

hmm i checked the connections under the tank earlier today, gave them all a good wiggle, but they seem to be in ok... ?
if it helps when the alarm does go off normally, when i press the fob it beeps once to indicate why it went off which according to the datatool user manual is "The Positive or Negative supply to
the alarm has been lost (the fuse
may have blown)"
Could this be a battery problem? the battery is probably over a year old.

And if comes to it that loom would be awesome. but as a last resort. to much effort Wink

Oh dear.

I'm going to bow out here, I know my CBR's but have an intense dislike for Datatools... I'd have scrapped the loom by now if one was present.

hahaha well i managed to fix it for now.. i just took out, checked and wiggled every fuse. and then the same with the block connectors under the tank and into the dash

so now im praying it stays fixed Mr. Green
